HTPC died, need suggestions on a replacement
I had an old PC hooked up to my TV and used mainly XBMC to have it be a HTPC. It streams across the network from shared files on my media server. I have no idea what happened to my HTPC, it just won't boot now and only occasionally passes POST and will just go to a black screen when the OS tries to load. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it...
Anyway, I'm thinking of getting a nettop box to replace it. I was thinking something along the lines of a Zotac Zbox. I would specifically like to know which hardware would be good for XBMC and Ubuntu, as I might switch to Ubuntu as the OS.
edit: I have a 32gb SSD that I plan on using as the HDD so I wouldn't mind a "barebones" kit.
