Best SATA2 SSD?

I've been looking to purchase a 120GB SSD, and I'm leaning towards an OCZ, because those are about twice as cheap as the Crucial/Intel ones.

For now, I have the choice between the Vertex 3 ($140), Vertex Plus ($100), or Agility 3 ($120). So, which one is the best out of those? I'll be installing the SSD in a computer that only supports SATA2, so the Agility 3 and Vertex 3 seem like a waste, but if they are more reliable than the Vertex Plus, I'll get either of them.

I also have the choice to get OCZ Petrol ($100) or Mushkin Chronos ($130) if those are decent choices, but I've never heard of those.

By the way, how do you update firmware on a SSD? I've seen tons of people say that I needed to update it at once before starting to use the SSD...
