A word from the former mayor of Freehold (R.I.P.)

I logged in today after roughly 26 hours I was not able to go online. I type a message to see if anybody was in town. No replies. I find a wanderer that says he has to go as soon as I see him.

Damage is evident - it is present in the buildings to the great gateway that first made our city famous. I have not talked to my townspeople concerning the events while I was gone but I can only assume everybody moved out.

I have seen many posts about the Age of Eden coming to our server... I'd like to believe that Freehold has started this. And if so I am extremely happy to hear this.

Learn from our mistakes! Cheezus made a great post about about this. A civilized town needs a strong leader. I'm afraid I was hardly a good one; at first I didn't even really want to be called mayor. Lead your town and be strong in your convictions as a leader. Be careful giving out coords! (this is where I probably failed lol).

Even though our city is down, I have absolutely no regrets. It was a great run, maybe a little short lived, but still awesome. I also met some great people on our journey that I will hopefully be able to contact later and make plans with :D This is what I appreciate most about my city experience.

Godspeed new town mayors!
