[Build Help] Radeon HD6850 power requirements?

Hey r/buildapic,

I just got my first build together and picked up a Corsair CX430 powersupply, but that only has one PCE-I line so I'm planning on picking up a $5 Molex to PCE-I adapter to save the trouble of returning my own PSU.

The issue I'm finding now is that it's being said that the HD6850 should have about 500w and as to where mine is a 430w, you see the problem.

[I found this cool-master](http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx? Item=N82E16817171031) which is in my budget and has 500w but from NCIX it says that the card needs 550w, if this is true would just a 500w psu be fine because 550w for this graphic card seems a little insane, but I also don't know much about builds, only the slim basics.

And should that turn to be true, any good reccomendations for PSU for someone who's on a budget

edit: The site says 500w, so should I just return my PSU and get that CoolMaster?
