Sudgestions for someone with no experience??

Hey, first Off I didn't see any link to a FAQ do if there is one PLEASE. Link me and don't bother answering these questions

I'm kinda jumping head first into this. I have no camping experience, can't tie a knot, nothing. But something sounds very interesting about hammock camping. What's the easiest to set up hammock that has some kind of rain/ bug protection built in. I'm kinda intimidated by Setting up a tarp and all that. Any links for info, first set up sudgestions. A store to buy from in NYC?? Thank you all
