Wake and Bake Cycling
So this morning was the first time I waked and baked and then rode my Bicycle. The morning held a soft, foggy haze. I knew this kind of overcast weather would turn a busy, highly light and booming view of Detroit into something more out of a Russian magazine: post-apocalyptic and empty. I was right, as I rode down Woodward not a single soul stirred (it was only 8am) and I could not help but to look at each and every building as if it was Detroit's work of art, what once trademarked a beautiful successful city that had fallen into the traps of pressure from society. With the wind blowing in my hair, I rode deeper into the hart of the city, into it's plazas and around it's skyscaper-esk buildings. Half of the GM building was visable as the other half was being held onto my Mother Nature's shadow. At the riverfront, wind whipping at my hair, I rode faster and faster feeling inches away from freezing cold water that separates two vast regions from each other. The melancholy and silence of the city echoed through this early morning's mist and holy shit i'm too baked to finish this. TL;DR Bake and Bike. It's a beautiful experience - especially if you're in a city! But be safe! :)
