[Build Complete] Finished putting together my first PC build, Gaming PC to be specific.
This was my first foray into building a computer and my first desktop. It was a really enjoyable experience and I thank all of BaPC for being such a helpful and informed community.
Here are the pics!
Note: A few of my components (VGA, mouse, case) were not on pcpartpicker so I added them, along with links, below. I changed their individual totals but didn't change the grand total so it may be slightly off. I also had the mouse and keyboard beforehand and got both of them on sale.

Didn't really have any problems. I put most of the computer together three weeks ago and then had to wait two weeks for the 7800 series to come out. Got my 7870 and installed it a couple days ago. It is so powerful and I am quite happy with it. I played Starcraft 2 on a tiny laptop screen with lowest setting and the framerate still locked up whenever my army ran into another army. Now I can run all ultra at 1920 x 1200 and have it not even hiccup. Can't wait to get more games loaded up and see how it handles them.
Though this was my first time building a PC, I have done cable management in display tables at my work. I found the principles from that to be the same in PC building, though it was interesting to work in the more confined space of a desktop chassis.
My next upgrade will probably be an SSD. I am also planning to start trying to overclock soon once I feel I have read up on it enough. Thanks again for being such an amazing community, BaPC!
