What happened with Polt and the lag spikes

Tl;dr it was a spammer causing the lag to polt thus causing lag to the casters.

Hi here's what happened: a player was spam inviting polt to the reddit and /v/ chats thus causing lag! You might say that the last patch fixed that, false in a way. The player spam inviting polt was on his friends list, then polt removed him and the lag ceased. (source: I'm at the venue and able to watch polts screen) also: my theory is the player was someone polt faced earlier in the open bracket, thus the reason for him being on his friends list. (also I know the players name from the screen, but I don't want a witch hunt do they will remain unnamed.) (proof of proof: http://i.imgur.com/fd1yz.jpg)

UPDATE: It was not one of the two players he played today (I looked at the Polt's match history), but it was for sure someone on his friends list because I saw him remove someone from his friends list during the debacle.
