I'm opposite - never travelled further than a few hundred km with my parents as a kid and now I dislike change. Can you tell me what you love about travelling so I can share in it?

Pretty much what the title says. There are lots of places I'd like to see in theory, but I've kind of learned to fear change living in a remote town for 21 years and never really getting out. What great stories do some of you have that might change my mind and make me really want to have similar experiences as you?
