OMW spring too powerful?

Finally got my Massacre kit for the Raider after pre-ordering in Jan. It installed fine, huge increase in power and range, probably double what I was getting stock.

Having a couple problems though. For one it's hard to cock, Now I understand that's going to happen with the heavier spring so I could live with it.

Second I need to push forward on the priming handle to be able to fire it. No more one handed shooting for me with this gun. Again it's the heavier spring pushing everything back off of a lock preventing the trigger from firing. And again I could live with this.

The problem is I'm blowing darts apart after two shots. The backside splits and pieces of foam come out the barrel when I fire. I could forgive the other issues but destroying darts at this rate is unacceptable. I think I'm going to either put the stock spring back in or more likely, go to a hardware store and find a less powerful spring so I can get some benefit out of the polycarb internals.

I don't know if the guys at OMW did any testing on how long the darts will hold up in use with the massacre kits or if this is something specific to my Raider. Either way the spring included is useless to me....

Thoughts on what I should do other than contacting OMW to voice my issue? Are any of you guys or gals experiencing the same problem with dart destruction? Possible fixes?!?
