Today was my last day of the year at sugarbush. The snow wasn't amazing, but it was one hell of a year.
Today sugarbush had their pond skimming event, a clear indication of the end of the season. For my final day of work, I was sent over to help with the event, and it turned out I got a pretty nice view of the whole contest. This year I sacrificed my free time to help benefit those learning to ride. I know its not for everyone, but I truely felt like I got the most out of this year. For anyone who's on the fence about working at a ski resort, go ahead and do it. Mountains don't operate by themselves, and what's a better job than one that involves doing what you love?
