r/hockey, I'm going to start coahing my brother's roller hockey team shortly
Any advice and/or resources? I'm 26 and I've played roller/ice hockey since I was 14. This is just a standard local league for 14/15 year olds. I even had some assist coaching experience for a season or two after high school, but I've yet to coach a team and I haven't worked with kids this young before.
I'm looking for ideas on easy strategies to implement (we won't have much practice time), advice on how to make sure the kids have fun, common good habits to enforce and bad habits to look out for, or any other ideas you all may have.
Thanks in advance!
