Religion of Conspiracy Theories?

I belong to a skeptic's society and recently someone posted a link to a Jesse Ventura show on Fema Camps, I tried to explain to this person that it's absolute hogwash and that it has been debunked thoroughly by plenty of different independent sources, but the person would not listen to reason. They then threatened me by saying "I will be sorry for not believing when I am in a concentration camp." and I realize that this empty threat is almost identical to a religious person threatening me with hell. It's like a conspiracy version of Pascal's Wager. Anyone else have interactions with these tinfoil nutjobs?

BTW this person also pointed out that they were an atheist as if that lent credibility to believing in things with little evidence and a great deal of evidence to the contrary.
