Nostalgia Channel Episode 1 with you're host Deadly"Octavious"Soldier: G4TV In The BeforeTimes

To all those reading, and those that don't, I am starting this up in remembrance of all the great games and shows I've watched Dedicated to Gaming. This Episode: G4

I remember when G4 first came to be, I remember the merger, and I remember it's downfall. But here we will think about the times of TechTV and G4, or G4Techtv. The shows that we loved and we lost, such as Filter, Portal, Screen Savers, Arena, Icons, and Cinematech.

I grew up watching this stuff, wishing to get myself on Arena, practicing games such as America's Army and MechWarrior 4. I honestly believed back then I could get my clan on the show.

I remember Portal, my first entrance into Machinima, Val(the computer) was even used in an episode of Red Vs Blue. I still remember my favorite characters being Sunny Dove, The Drifter, and Shorty The Dwarf.

Icon filled me in on things I didn't know before such as Tetris and Final Fantasy. Filter was a Top Ten countdown that I loved to watch, especially the top ten bosses. And finally, Cheat, with Cory Rouse, now THAT, was cheating.

Cinematech was only trailers, which I still loved, and I really wanted to say Code Monkeys, but that was after the downfall. X-Play, I loved back in the day with only Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb.

Forgot to Mention Judgement Day, still have fond memories of Tommy Tallarico

What do you guys remember and have Fond Memories of G4 if Any?
