Isn't the point of Reddit to share opinions, have discussions, and explore the differences in humanity all over the world? I'm not saying that I agree with what he's saying, because I don't. But he's entitled to an opinion about trees just as much as you are. He is being harsh, close-minded, and rude, so call him on that! But don't you dare call him out for disagreeing with you.
