No skills/unemployed. Is lying on your resume against the law? Need advice.

I've been contemplating pulling together a fake design portfolio that I would gather from the internet, random people. I would then have recruiters find me gigs at different design studios and agencies. I have basic knowledge of Photoshop. I figure I would get part time gigs, get paid for the 3 or 4 days before they might get rid of me or might not... but with my fake experience I could ask for $80 an hour. Is anything I just said illegal?

Thanks in advance, I know this is kind of a scumbag thing to do but currently I'm broke and I need money.
