How to be a supportive partner (x-post /r/babybumps)
MEN of DADDIT! How can I be the best supportive partner of a pregnant women. A little back story the mother of my unborn child is 19 weeks pregnant(we dated for 1year and this pregnancy pretty much ripped are relationship apart). Things between her and I have been very rocky for the past 2 months. I went to her 16 week appointment and found out we are having a boy. She has decided I shouldn't be at the 22 week appointment. I want to know what things I can do to be supportive even though she is pushing me away. At 9 weeks I sent her a care package filled with dark chocolate, 2 books, crackers, and body lotion. At 13 weeks I sent her a dehumidifier to help her with the dry apartment she lives in. At 16 weeks I sent her a maternity pillow. I have offered to clean her house for or anything that she would need done. I would much rather be there for emotional support but she won't let me at this time. Any suggestions of things to send to her or do for her would really help. Thanks DADS, A concerned Baby daddy
