Reddit, is it weird if I went to a restaurant tonight to try and see a girl that liked me 5 years ago?

So my friend and I went to a restaurant tonight to see a girl that works there that liked me back in junior high to see if I could try again with something I left behind 5 years ago. Is this normal? Or am I weird for trying to rekindle a relationship I missed out on years ago?
