I play on the 360. I generally avoid multiplayer but have been having so much fun with ME3 that I've made an exception. When I play with friends my headset works fine, but all of my pub matches have been silent. Have I missed a setting or is crosstalk not as prevalent as I've been led to believe?

edit thanks for the responses guys, I assumed I was missing something simple, but it turns out Mass Effect Fans would rather talk to Garrus or Tali than me...um, I've got some calibrations to do. We'll talk later.
