How about two seperate cards that can fuse with each other of different types to create a dual type unit.

Concept

So let's say int vegeta and teq goku. Both fuse to create an int/teq vegito combo thats type effective so both teq and agl and can gave type weakness to both phys and int or not depending on how OP that sounds.

Your rotation gets shorter so instead of using 7 units you now have 6 which in essence can be a buff or a detriment depending on your team comp. Their links can either be completly new to that unit or be a mixture of both cards links and their attack/defense is either just a new number or both of their atk/def/hp doubled.

Then you could have it so they either defuse after 5 or 6 turns for "flavour" or just keep them fused for the rest of the match.

Too overpowered? Not overpowered enough?

Gacha law can’t have two separate summon units be required for a unit (fusions) so it will never happen unless it is something similar to unit special attack and a F2P unit can satisfy the requirement, but they could have exchange back and forth style units like Legends has something like that and One Piece treasure crew has a ton

Is that a real law? I didn't know that.

I suppose to makes sense if both cards were required to make one but these units would be plenty useful on their own without the fusion.

Yes, it is. You can't restrict a character's ability behind having another summonable character. There has to be a completely f2p alternative available

Pls show me the law.

All I find is agreement between major companies on how to handle gacha

Here

Kompu Gacha is what OP was talking about

If it’s a F2P unit it can avoid the law

And this are guidelines. That's not law. It's even written in your article

“However, according to the Japanese Consumer Affairs Agency ("CAA"), multi-level loot box mechanisms (“complete gacha” or “kompu gacha”) fall under a specific consumer protection law and are prohibited.”

You get a lot of free crystals there so in a way yes

This is not legal in Japan. It is called Kompu Gacha.(Complete Gacha)

If the condition is (for example): Transform both into Vegetto Blue when there's a character whose name includes Goku (Goku Black, etc excluded) which belongs to Future or Real of God's categories. And there's a F2P version of said character, it would be legal.

So overpowered it’s illegal.

I think it would be better if for example, 2 of this vegito card was in the rotations, helps with making the unit feel more powerful since you know, fusion is strong as fuck, and also makes it that there's no need to shift the game's code for this mechanic

I don't know how they can handle links and rotation but i would like that, and it's not too overpowered, we have TEQ Gohan with guard for every Type or the Gogeta's with Super effective against all Types, if they found a way to bypass the law then sure, why not? I need another Vegito and another Gogeta.
