What are the upload speeds for these new plans?

Discussion

so now the lineup looks like the following:

50 (Mbps) download

100

300

600

900

1200

I know 300 is 300/10 and I know 1200 is 1200/35. I believe both 50 and 100 are 5 up.

They made the base upload 10Mbps now.

It’s 50/10 and 100/10 now.

I’m on 1200 and last time I checked speeds I was getting between 900 and 1000

Do you have a multi gigabit NIC on the machine doing the speed test?

I get between 1400-1450 on gigabit extra

What is gigabit extra and how much more does it cost than gigabit? Is it the same as gigabit pro?

Gigabit extra is what they are calling gigabit now. It’s internet 1200. I guess to say they offer faster speeds than Aat&T fiber…. Which honestly is a load of horse shit but you know.

You are getting 900-1000 because your port maxes out at 1000 megabit (1 gigabit).. You need a 2.5 gig or 10 gig port to reach the full speed.

I'm about to get a Thunderbolt -> 2.5 gig ethernet adapter myself to upgrade my Mac to 2.5 gig...

Does Comcast list upload speeds? The last time I looked I could not find any information about upload speeds on their website.

I have 600down and 20up, I needed it for constant zoom and it's pretty consistent

Nope, the slowest tiers were upgraded to 50/10 and 100/10.

I was gonna write that too !! lol ty for correcting tho. And it’s about time that xfinity increased that upload rate to those tiers! We should complain and hope they increase the high tiers too! I want more than the meager 35Mbps on gigabit internet!! Ok rant over lol
