“I find it rather offensive and actually quite racist”
Holy shit, the absolute sanctimony of these people. So what, you were called a colonizer. Get over it, pick yourself up by the bootstraps. Stop pretending like you’re hurt, most of us grew out of that phase as children.
Feel free to check my post history to see how out of context this is. He's cut this out of : https://www.reddit.com/r/changemyview/comments/r8s5nk/cmv_addressing_white_people_as_colonizers_is/
Feel free to address any of my points as you wish but I'm not gonna get taken out of context because this fool wants clout.
Well, after checking your comment/post history, I don’t see any other previous relevant comments you’ve made on that (now deleted) thread. So I’m not sure I understand.
But whatever points you might have made won’t change the fact that you being ‘offended’ for being called a colonizer is a teensy bit pathetic.
As a white person, do I personally think that me being called a colonizer is the paragon of productive discourse? Not really, but I’ll get over it - I’m not the one being colonized. As for you, it apparently strikes your nerves so hard that you’ll seek out crossposts to try to convince a group of politically antipodal internet strangers to change their views on you as a character.
Activate your sociological imagination.

The reason I did not initially link to the now-deleted thread was for the same reason I censored out the usernames even though this subreddit requires neither: to minimize the likelihood of brigading or harassment.
What pertinent context do you feel I excluded?

A woman called me a "filthy colonizer" in bed once. Surprised the hell out of me.
Populated her, did you?
She said some shit like that, too! Was wild, because she was such a shy/sweet girl outside of the bedroom.
I feel like I ain’t gotta tell you this since you lived it but the shy girls always say some wild shit lmao. Been with one shy girl and while she didn’t so much say wild stuff, girl just liked a lot of stuff. It’s a stereotype that seems to keep ringing true lmfao
This comment gave me a good belly laugh.
“Because I find it rather offensive”
But I thought being offended doesn’t make you right…?
For those that feel like further context is needed, here is the thread and archived thread. :)

I mean I highly doubt this person was just called “colonizer” out of the blue. I’m sure they were being a racist ass in some way and are now playing victim.
Also, “something unsavoury by today’s standards.” I’d say it was more than “unsavoury” for all the people suffering at the hands of genocidal invaders, Kyle. Stop acting like opposing slavery and eugenics is simply a modern sensibility instead of basic human decency.
The exchange occurred in this thread wherein OP (not pictured) claimed "Addressing White People as colonizers is racist." I have no reason to believe Yellow has ever been called a colonizer; I feel it is both more true and amusing to believe that their response is entirely constructed on having imagined themselves being called a colonizer. :)

I have since taken a look at the original post and your comments and I now realize that no one actually called you anything yet you showed up and got upset about non-existent “reverse racism.” Thanks for clearing that up.
