Purple is the Color Of The Year 2022
What does Pantone know? And when did they start knowing it?

Yeah, they insist #17-3938 is "Very Peri - a dynamic periwinkle blue hue with a vivifying violet-red undertone", it is not "purple".
And "Suggestive of personal inventiveness and daring imagination, PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri makes a novel statement for eyes, nails and especially in hair in a variety of finishes and applications from glittery and glam to dusty matte".
Sure looks like purple to me. Is there a collaborator in Pantone headquarters trying to brainwash us into thinking purple is a sexy, desirable, color? Are they getting us ready for something? Did I miss a perfume company pushing lilac?

Are there special sunglasses that would let us see them? While the ladies height would be difficult to disguise, perhaps they are only using male spies while setting up for the "Liberation"?
