the left side of my palate is wider than my right side because i used to sleep on my right side. and i wanted to ask if theres any way i could fix this? because im worried that mewing will make the asymmetry worse or make my face uneven

Sleeping on your side will not cause any asymmetry. Its a common misconception to just give asymmetry a reason. What can, however, is any muscle imbalance that sleeping on one side can exacerbate. Sleeping does not put enough constant pressure to cause any asymmetry.
How can you better muscle imbalance?
I do not think mewing will make your face asymmetry worse. It will broaden the palate if done correctly and make your face symmetrical.
You can sleep on your left side lol I learned to when I smashed my right shoulder to bits, doesn’t take much getting used to (I see that you said used to, I didn’t miss it)
