First post, ever.

I have a hefty set of facial scars. A buck 50, pales in comparison to put it into perspective. I usually keep to myself. I try not to post anything, absolutely anywhere. I talk only when I need to. Recently I have been more outspoken, attempting to bridge the gap of it making people uncomfortable. It worked for about a week, I made my few friends for the first time since middle school when It happened (I am 23 now). But those few were all but shunned for talking to me, as if I were contagious. I have noticed this pattern for the last 10 years now. And it has gotten so bad my family doesn't want to be seen in public with me. I know it has something to do with how I carry myself, as I'm not deformed. I just look like I lost a fight to a beer bottle. How do I even begin correcting my habits. Everyone has something they are ashamed of from the age of 13, mine was thinking that the scarring wouldn't matter to people. Do I cave and get the plastic surgery, possibly screwing my face worse? Or is there some way to present myself to the world in a different light. Let me know, or make this disappear. It teaches me something right?
