Prototype link help

Hey guys, I’m building a portfolio site and want to link out to a Figma prototype using a single button. The problem is, I have both a desktop and a mobile version (currently two different prototypes) and I want the user to be able to choose which flow they want to view after linking out and landing inside the Figma prototype.

I tried combining the two flows into a single prototype, but I’m unable to preserve the mobile device in the prototype (so you can see the outline of the iPhone for the mobile flow if you are on desktop), and vice versa (if I keep the iPhone device outline it will be applied to the desktop flow as well, and clip the content).

Is there a way around this, so that I can create a selection button upon landing on the prototype and the user can choose their respective flow/device? Or is this just a functionality gap in Figma since the prototype device setting lives at the page level and isn’t a prototype setting?

Or am I overthinking this and should just link out to the mobile flow in the first place? Currently leaning towards this lol.
