Active PA/Monitor speaker

Hi. I need real people experience with choosing active PA speakers. I play Jazzy Lo-Fi HipHop (Archtop guitar into stomp box amp, bass DI and an electribe drum machine) and play in bars and smaller venues with about 50ppl, about once to twice a month. ATM I’m using a borrowed active Acus10 acoustic amp. It works ok even though it’s mono. When I play bigger, it’s my monitor and FOH takes care of PA. I need to have my own gear though. There are quite a few options between 300-500€ per speaker (conversion aside) and I can’t choose. My goal is to have a rugged stereo PA for 1000€ or less. What brands are safe to buy? What size speaker would you recommend? Thanks in advance for anything that helps.
