LF additional players for active long-term REALM (18+) [NOW RESET FOR 1.18] hermitcraft-inspired, shoppingdistrict, v.1.18.2

Realm/Server

We’re an active long-term community looking for additional long-term players between the ages of 18-28. The realm currently consists of 11 players, the majority of which are women, as well as a few members are in the LGBTQ+ community; therefore we’re seeking players who’s beliefs align with feminism and other social rights movements etc, if your beliefs dont align, please refrain from applying. The majority of members are based in Europe and some in the US.

We’re looking for players that’ll fit in well with the group, regarding both gameplay and as people. Everyone’s pretty chill, helpful, enjoy a bit of friendly teasing and could be described as pretty typical «gen-z»; there’s a lot of tik tok/vine references/humor.

We play on a survival hermitcraft-inspired bedrock 10-player realm (v. 1.18.2), and we just started in a new world for the new 1.18 update. The realm is vanilla-based, but we have two texture packs; one single-player-sleeping-system and a texture pack for aesthetic building purposes, made by me (mentioned texture pack is described more in depth at the end of the post, pictures from texture pack can be provided). We enjoy community-based gameplay where we help each other out, go exploring/mining together and join in on community projects together in the world. We’re in the process of setting up a trust-based shopping-district, mini-games district and nether-hub connecting player’s bases/shared structures, like we had in the previous world.

We’ve got a private discord server for the realm where we VC whilst playing, chat about the realm and/or everyday things and so on. We also have a separate mini-games realm with its own separate discord server, where we play mini-game addons/mods and VC/chat whilst playing. In the mini-games realm we play things like minecraft bingo, manhunt, block shuffle etc. We also play together on other public servers like CubeCraft, as well as other games outside of minecraft like among us, cards against humanity, etc.

We try to somewhat vet possible new members through a few questions in DMs. If you're an active player between 18-28 and this sounds like something you're interested in long-term, send me a DM!

Feel free to ask any questions :)

— The texture packs:
The texture pack mainly consists of different textures from different texture packs that I’ve merged, as well as a fair amount of textures made by me. We still want the world to feel like «proper» survival gameplay, so all textures etc. that feels like it «takes away» from vanilla survival gameplay has been removed; for example has the majority of mob-textures been removed (all hostile mobs+villagers are vanilla, some friendly mobs have cuter custom textures, like wolves, cats etc). I develop the resource pack in ‘collaboration’ with the realm members; changes are discussed beforehand and feedback is heavily prioritized in the work. The point of the texture pack is to add to the feel of the world and building-possibilities, anything that is experienced as a limitation to ‘vanilla’ survival gameplay is removed, or made customizable.

I for example brought up the possibility of having invisible/partly invisible armor in the texture pack, the majority was for it and two members preferred vanilla visible armor. Therefore I created a separate resource pack with subpacks that any member who wished to could download and apply to their global resources, and therefore choose for themselves (not downloading it just means having regular vanilla visible armor). The options (subpacks) are (1) visible vanilla armor, (2) partly visible armor; boots and a few pixels of leggings are visible, and (3) fully invisible armor. Any invisible armor is invisible on the player/other players in the world and on the player in the inventory screen, armor as items is still the regular vanilla texture in the inventory screen and in the armor-slots. Whichever setting a member has the resource pack set to in their global is how both they see themselves in the realm and other members.
