Starfield recommended by curators..based on what?

Question

Don't subscribe to curators as I really don't see the value of someone "reviewing" a game with Yah /Nah , or recommending based on their magical curator prowess . (CP2077) Though on the bright side the curator area now takes up less screen space.

My point being ...how to take them seriously when they are recommending a game that has not launched anything yet.

You don't have to take all curators seriously, just like you don't have to take all reviewers seriously, or all politicians, or all anyone. You choose people you find trustworthy, and you take them seriously, and ignore everyone else.

Curators are worthless

Curators are not reviewers. They mark games on a simple yes\no rule, based with their own criteria.
You are not supposed to like all creators, but instead select few that have "tastes" close to yours.

Spend one hour by doing research, find curators that you like, follow them and you will never see any other curators.

My point is how can 28 curators approve /disapprove a game that wont be launched for another year. The act of having an opinion on a game that is basically vapor ware at the moment show what a crock of BS curators are.

Example - there's "Source Engine" curator that mark "Yes" to games that use Source engine. And it could mark games that won't be launched. Same goes to "ANIMETIDDIESCONNOISSEUR" curator, that could mark games based on just one screenshot :D

Again - curators are not "opinions". At least not all of them, because you could create curator "Games that I like" and mark with yes/no.

I like some Curators when it's particularly a joke. Like the Commander Shepard Steam Curator. or when it's informational like the Denuvo Steam Curator or the "Anti-consumer practice report" curator".

I also like curators that do actual steam reviews and have a video of their own review on youtube or whatever they link in their curator review on steam. Basically i'm subscribed to a good mix of curators for both the memes and seriousness of curating products too someone.

i even own my own curator group which is basically just me reviewing games that were developed by developers or publishers in a specific state.
