When did every person / reporter who appears on TV begin using the phrase “in terms of” at least once in every single sentence they say?

it's a perfectly cromulent phrase
It embiggens the story they’re reporting on
Going forward.
In terms of overusing the phrase how far would you say we have come
The script they are given they are not reporters only puppets
Starting sentences with “So”
So that is particularly annoying.
I see what you did there
It is fuppin annoying though.
It is. People on Newstalk are terrible for it

Michael martins been doing it for years..now you won't be able to unhear it.
They all get the same media training.
Around the same time that people started saying "so" before answering a question. So I can't answer you with a specific date.
Well, in terms of when it first started...
Going forward, I think you should reach out and touch base with them to find out why.
It is important to circle back afterwards so that we're all on the same page, but I think you should hold the pen on that.
I'm gonna to need you to run point on that so you can continue to bring value.
Reach out and touch base, 🎵Dow Dow da Dow Dow dow🎵
When someone at work mentions that they want to touch base later, I'm drawn to thinking about this urban dictionary definition:
