EZ flash Omega not fitting?

Hi,

I have an EZ flash Omega but it’s very difficult to insert / remove. I am hesitating to use it because I don’t want to damage the port. Someone else is facing the same issue? Is there a known easy fix?

Note: No problem with official GB/GBA games.

EDIT: I have an EZ Flash Reform, not Omega. I just removed the back panel. The PCB is against the console but at least I can use it without risking damaging the port.
