Having so much trouble surviving on my Trickster compared to my technomancer/pyro

Question

I somehow have like 6k health at level 30, I don't do good damage and I don't heal for shit.

I'm using the damage mod for time rift as my main aoe source of damage and use the knife/teleport to deal single target damage but godamn, im always low on health, and the only way I can heal is through weapon leech, or being literally right next to an enemy when it dies :/

How do you play this class without getting shit stomped on higher tiers?

I can do t8 easily but the jump to t9 is way too difficult.

Make sure all your gear (guns included) is max level. It really affects you health pool.

Then you need some def mod ( recommend Mitigation from Death and preservance shield )

Sounds like you should be using twisted rounds instead of VK or time rift. That’ll add more to your weapon leech and help you kill faster.

Maybe I was just lucky but Tiago has had the helmet you need like 10+ times already so it should be easier to get now. Once you have the mod for HtP that refills ammo you’re set. Until then you can use stuff like perpetuum mobile.

Time rift is good but you will need to use movement skill and melee to boost anomaly power then hit them with the knife slash. Also how have you been applying your skill points? Also are you modding your gear yet?

Obviously keep your gear at max level and all that jazz, but keep in mind that Trickster is by far the squishiest class in the game, even when you have endgame gear and are able to clear expeditions as fast as technos or pyros. As Trickster your only way to heal is from weapon leech and actually killing stuff and weapon leech is complete trash unless you stack it really high, which just gimps your damage.

Before New Horizon, I've done all expeditions on gold (except paxian homestead, fuck that place) and soloed EotS and I still regularly died in CT15 expeditions with pretty much BiS gear. It only takes a couple of staggers in a row or getting cornered for a split second with your HtP on cooldown and you die.

I levelled mine with a middle tree deception build and it was pretty easy to get through... slow, oh so slow, but easy

New trickster here I’m using twisted rounds, time rift, and borrowed time with the crono suit I think and as long as I hit the borrowed time skill I have shields up. Also do a decent amount of damage with a shotgun.

Made this post yesterday asking for tips for trickster survival. If you're doing a Temporal Blade, Teleport, Time Rift build some of these tips might help, although you may be missing some of the mods.

Toxin providing healing over time was interesting to me

Use twisted rounds, get a good shotgun or any good rolled gun, stack perks on twisted rounds and some survivability

I’d use time sphere and borrowed time instead, esp with borrowed time t1 mods Giving so much free damage and Armor, and the sphere essentially makes you unkillable. You should be doing enough damage to kill red bars easily to proc your healing so the question is can you burst bosses
