Chapman Wingtip Thoughts

Anyone have the Chapman Wingtips? I just ordered a pair in natural. Now I'm second guessing myself and thinking I should have gotten a pair of Dalton... Thoughts?

I bought a pair of the Park City in Snuff Waxed Suede a few months ago and can't keep them off my feet.

If you have a pair of well worn Chapman's old love to see them.

I don't have them, but was about to order them a couple weeks ago only to find out they have already been discontinued it seems. Honestly though at the price they are now I don't think you can go wrong and cxl will age great. It also is a boot you should be able to beat on (something which always gets me excited). I do have the Dalton and I love it...that was my gateway drug into nice shoes, but they are closer to a true dress boot whereas the Chapman wingtips lean pretty casual in my opinion.

I'm absolutely a boot guy. I have 3? Other pairs of dress boots and several other pairs of work/beater/hunting boots. The Dalton's are on my list - and the blue frosts are killer. I don't think I'll be dissatisfied with either just thinking my purchase sequence could have served me better. Thanks for the input! Made me feel better about my purchase 😁

Yes, you need Daltons. I love mine...but those Park City's are calling my name.

Do it. They are awesome boots - But I'll say I switched the laces for AE brown flat laces on the Park City's and they look MUCH better. Someone here suggested that a while ago and they were right. I tried a few different ones and those look the best.

Alright alright alright - you guys sold me. Dalton's next lol.

OP- how did you Chapman Wingtips workout for you? I was thinking about ordering the natural one's as well.

Edit- Also... if you're still waiting to get those Daltons the current warehouse sale is pretty decent.

Shipping got a little delayed do to weather so I've had them for 2 weeks. They broke in decently in about 3 or 4 wears. I've noticed a little glue visible around the broguing and it lifts a little more in places than I'd like. However, I'd still get them again. They are extremely comfortable and as long as your nose isn't right up to them you can't see the issues I'm talking about at all. All in all, I'd go for it. Also they color is not nearly as light as it appears to be in the pictures. It's more of a lighter brown than a light natural. I'll post some pictures later of the issue spots
