Outlook for IDO’s on pylon?
Got into pylon to participate in IDO’s and bought quite a big bag of MINE that I staked in the gov. pool from the beginning. Thinking it would give better access to new projects. I also love the bigger idea of using yield to pay for things. Took a large chunk out after the initial “failed” launches but still have a decent bag - and have not followed up on the project for around a month.
So my question is - seeing how a lot of projects now are just building their own staking mechanisms for launches (apollo, astro, stader etc). Is the idea of an external partner for this dead? Would also love to hear why people are deciding to stay in the gov. pool - what future developments you think will be game changing?

I think for all Projects, multiple sources of funding is critical. Pylon is just one of those additional sources. Look at White Whale, it gets funds from Pylon, VCs and Seed Rounds, plus the recent successful IDO to fund their liquidity pool.
For normal folks, like myself, this is the best mechanism to participate without having to do any networking, build a huge trove knowledge to minimize risk, and still get in at launch at some very good price points.
If your question is about the future of Pylon token, the tokenomics have improved a little bit given the additional airdrops you receive ... But each Token requires more utility to drive additional value.
