Honor 10 stuck at fastboot&rescue mode

LEVEL 1 (Software | Firmware)

My Honor 10 has a broken power button. Booted it into fastboot with volume down+home button+inserting USB cable. Now it says "Please connect USB to your computer and open HiSuite". I did this, but nothing happens, HiSuite doesn't recognize it and the PC isn't saying "device not recognized" or anything.

Aside from this the only info on the screen is

Device reboot reason:

AP_S_COLDBOOT 0

no

NA

volumnkey_down_press_process_func

Phone Locked

Any help with how I get out of this? My goal is to simply boot the phone normally since everything works fine except power button.

You booted into fastboot mode. You had vol- pressed when connecting the powered off phone to cable.

At this point, connect it to PC, make sure drivers are installed and you have fastboot prepared, and run "fastboot reboot" in command line.

What drivers should I have installed? I got the PC to at least register it being connected, but it doesn't recognize the device as an android phone meaning I can't seem to install any drivers for the device specifically. (I.e. right clicking the "Unknown USB Device" in device manager, clicking "Update Driver" and navigating to the android usb driver just gives an error message saying the driver isn't for that device type). Am I just doing it wrong or is it borked?

HiSuite should install the correct one, but if it did not, try those: https://easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=file&id=165198 - install them twice.

This is the error I get when trying to install a driver for the device
