Best Buy - Return item only to purchase again using a gift card

So, I forgot I had gift cards at Best Buy, and just bought some PC parts.

Would they allow me to return the parts, refund to my card, and then purchase the same exact item using my gift card?

I just really want to use the gift card since I don't make too many purchases at Best Buy, and I have a few of them...
