u/Thargomindah2 is correct from my understanding - and the sequential vs. mirror threading is just a note that you are not to do the first part of the draft and then go backwards, but to start again at the beginning. A mirrored draft would be 1,2,3,4,1,2,4,3,2 and then 2,3,4,2,1,4,3,2,1 and then you'd start with the first sequence again (you'd actually probably leave off the last '1' on the mirrored section if you were starting the repeat again, or you'd have two '1's in a row - but you'd leave it if it were the end of the total threading you were doing). A sequential one would be 1,2,3,4,1,2,4,3,2 then 1,2,3,4,1,2,4,3,2 again and again until you're as wide as you want.
Very helpful, thank you!
I would like to weave the bottom piece (the blue and yellow). I don't quite understand the threading at the top—why are there two rows of threading? Do I do both, or choose one? If both, should I start with the bottom and then move to the top row?
Additionally, what does the side text mean: "This is a sequential not a mirror threading"?
Thank you very much!
One other item I want to make sure you noticed in the note at the top right - the treadling pattern doesn't show the alternating tabby picks between the pattern picks. It's easy to miss if you haven't woven overshot before.
Thank you! I only just have learned how to do that (working on monk's belt at the moment) and will keep that in mind.
You do both -- the draft is too wide to fit on the top of the page. Start with the top line, and then do the lower line. Repeat until you have threaded as wide as you need.
Thank you!!!!
