Progression doubt

Question

Hello ! Im not a begginer player nor a veteran one, and thats my question.

Im stuck and dont know what to farm, or what to strive for.

For context, i have a couple of 6star max soultree teams, and i have a 10/5/5 character (Thats what i think i have to do) But all the instance that i have to farm beat the sh*t out of me, so i dont know where to go. To farm pots im not strong enought, in coop i feel like a dead weight and dont want to bother people that want to do it fast. Scrolls are out of the picture and the only thing i do efficiently is farm orb (Until i ran out of characters)

So my question is, did i make a mistake along the way, or did i skip a step somewhere ?

  • Find a guild from your strength that will be able to help you with LP/ER
  • Get better accessories and roll on them it's the first step before anything
  • Although it is quite boring do CQ until you have enough scrolls to increase your units to T-slots Lv5

This should then help you to collect the first materials to then get access to the weekly trial

Event points can easily be done and provide overall a fair package of coins, crystals and premium Accs tickets that will be useful to reroll your 2nd stats. Possibly you'll get a few characters over time with premium character tickets as well.

You made no mistake, some contents are now locked behind units (like RD) and can be really troublesome to many players

To add on this; a good way to check your account-progressions is by playing the Senkaimon, once you have access to it, as it gives "subtle" hints on what areas your account needs / has ways to improve on. Though make a not it's not PERFECT way by any means.

  • Stuck on a stage? Try improving your accessories for better ones, or by working on the transendence (dupe system) on your characters.
  • Don't have a character to use on certain stages, for example; the ones that are Hollow or Arrancar only? Might be a good idea to pull on a banner with that sort of units.
  • Character gets locked to a previous floor and now you have no "replacement" to use in the next one where they'd be perfect? Either try pulling for another unit that fills the requirements or by trying to clear the previous stage again, but with a different, less optimal, unit.

To add on the final part as a general rule; don't get too picky of who and or what you pull. Yeah, it absolutely sucks to get a (just an example, no banner like this is available atm mind you) CFYOW Aaroniero instead of the new and shiny OP main unit of the banner, but once you have to play that one Senkaimon floor, F18 of Path of Valor, you'll be over the moon of having him on your account even if you never really play him. ...Just ...Trust me.

Finally, another reason I personally think Senkaimon as a good place to compare your account progress is that upon playing it you also get... better at the game without knowing it. Some stages require you to start with a low health, some have your normal attack or SA's locked (etc) and you have to chalenge yourself by getting around those obstacles. And then... There are boss stages where you have to fight 3 bosses in a row. Either you find a way to tank the hits (especially the soul bombs which they'll use without mercy) or you learn to flash-step dodge 'em. Or, find some other ways around the problem, such as status effects. The bosses always use their special at certain HP threshold (and then again if you take too long to finish 'em off) and one of the easiest ways to avoid the special is by getting near the threshold, then paralyzing/freezing 'em and running away works, or you can use weakening to tank the hiteasy, lacerate to lock it for few seconds (though this is the most risky way imo) OR you can even just simply push 'em away with certain characters, like with Quincy-Ichigo's SA1 or Mind Nell's SA2 and running away.

Do chronicle quests and accessory training quests. The hat accessory is fantastic. And if you got some of the characters do ER.

Also don't worry about coop and feeling like dead weight. Most people don't mind too much or not at all. More than likely they can beat it by themselves. So just have fun with it.

And I agree with senkaimon idea. I naturally started doing that on my own. Having issues clearing a floor? Work on their transcendence and or link slot lvs. 5/5/5 is usually good enough but some require that extra bit at 10/10/10.

Don't worry about how your progression is going. It took me over 700 days to finally beat a senkaimon extreme. And then my reward was that 5 star ticket which then just gave me a fucking dupe. So don't worry klab will always find a way to fuck you lol... sigh...
