Language! The ongoing smears used by Shitlibs to try to ensure their dominance over conversation.
Howdy folks.
Fly on the wall here. If you've been here for any length of time, you've probably been called something or other because someone never agrees with you. There's a dominance in language that people want to have by showing how much they can rule a conversation by debasing you with it.
Small timers will call you a dickhead or racial epithet because that can get a rise out of you.
Big timers have to call you something HUGE because it's connected but distant enough to not be a baseless accusation.
Problem is that as time moves on, the language will always be outdated. The best book anyone can read for this is George Lakoff where you don't think of an elephant.
Now see? Right there, what happened with your mind? You thought of the elephant.
The language here is to try to get people to bend to the will of the smear by painting someone in an ugly light. A smear hides what the truth is and the person utilizing it is usually trying to obfuscate that truth. So with that in mind, let's get through the smears that have become a common occurrence with those seeking rent in your head:
Anti-vax
Any and all issues with the corporate vaccines start here. I took issue with this a while ago because it's an important piece of language. Anyone against corporate vaccines will feel the wrath of this word because according to Pfizer, Moderna, and JnJ, there is no alternative.
This is a constant smear to protect corporate vaccines. Forget Novavax, forget Sputnik V, forget everything else that falls in early treatment. This is the epitome of "Us vs Them" in the COVID debate. If you don't agree to corporate vaccines, expect this one to be the go-to smear.
Counter
Always remember this is a corporate smear. Anyone outside the corporate vaccine orthodoxy will get this. So if you ARE going to call out corporate malfeasance, point out the Vax-hole in front of you. Vaxx-Zealot also works as that includes the religious cult belief which comes from this Gilded Age we live in.
Science Denier
Getting into the main one, this accusation is aimed at professionals. It's not enough that you have a degree in some form of biology. Nossirree, Bob.
Now they attack you with claiming you're not a person of science.
Again, go back to Jill Stein. She was attacked as a quack for questioning corporate malfeasance in medicine and that was 2015.
Now we have this expanded to doctors working with early treatment. Or questioning official narratives
Overall, if you question Official narratives, the establishment has to find a way to smear you.
Astroturfer
This is more a gaslight than anything. You aren't from around here, and you're the visitor. Not your opponent. This is utilized more or less to try to unsettle someone from their community.
Quick look at someone and their post history will usually expose that lie right quick.
Overall, the smear becomes useless as you dismantle it. I tend to take them on head-on and break them quickly which exposes my opponent to their own bad argument.
Then the fun begins.
What's your way of breaking down a smear?
