I know I didn't do anything bad, so I'm not banned, but I wanted to check anyway if I was banned myself... The bot called me lazy :(
Heh
Is there anyway to flag people that have accounts that look like they’ve just been made? They’re mostly female-based accounts and it almost seems like they’re trying to spam people.
It would be cool if there was some sort of a time limit or something where the account has existed for a certain amount of time or they have a certain amount of activity.
Just throwing it out there :-)

On a related note, this won't be as effective as it could be if people don't report users who are sending inappropriate messages via Chat and DMs, so please report all users who message you inappropriately WITH EVIDENCE to us so that we can add these malicious lurkers to the ban list.

Maybe you should add this to Rule 5

Your bot isn't accepting messages.
It is.
I just sent it one and it said otherwise
What is the error message?
"This user is not accepting messages"
I'm guessing the reason you don't use chat for the bot is reddit not having an endpoint for chat in their api?
Ugh that's so frustrating. I can't really see the reason behind it. Why won't they allow devs to access chats?
I'm writing this because today I was actually posting on a subreddit of an app who the dev has gone out of their way and managed to implement chats in the app but in a weird and privacy concerning way and I was basically complaining about it.
That's exactly why, yeah. It would definitely be possible, but I'd rather not do that stuff outside of the API.
I hate that decision, but more so that they are putting a ton of new features only for their official app, like polls... And no matter how many things I change, that app hijacks the first reddit link of any search. Other let me pick. I wish I could keep it uninstalled, but that means I can't use a feature on mobile.
Basically, that's the reason why they won't add those to the api i bet.
