I didn't really care that much about the run, I was just wondering if I could skip the boss. And then I thought of what would happen if I entered from the other side. And now I know

As far as I know the only boss that can be skipped is Mama Tick.

In the previous biome there’s always that alter lore room with the wood plank looking dude chilling there right next to the exit that leads to the nest. If you summon then sacrifice a mushroom boi at the alter the Mama Tick accepts it as an offering and will not appear for a fight, but one eye will pop up and watch you as you walk through to the next passageway. Only thing is that the mushroom boi you sacrifice does not remain in your inventory-but I plan for this and wait until the end of the level to sacrifice/replace any items to make sure I don’t sacrifice a strong mushroom boi and get stuck with a weaker one.

The button prompt was there to leave, but my monkey brain went "ooga booga go fight boss" which caused me to get stuck. I might try again later and see if you actually can skip the fight with lightspeed javelin.

Wasn't there an exploit in an earlier version of the game where you could look down, crouch and slowly roll across the floor of the Crypt to the other side and skip Conjonctivius?

Same thing happened to me, and after u go off the screen u cant come back. But thankfully i had a backup save. Pretty sure theres a backup save in the game folder

War javelin, I think you get it in the caverns. And lightspeed, I think you get that from the time keeper. For some reason if you throw the javelin and face the opposite way and then lightspeed, you just go really fast. If you do it right, you can skip the entirety of promenade
