Suggestions for True Wireless with Wingtips?

I've constantly suffered from headphones falling out of my ears, but have found that those with wingtips are easily the most secure (As an example, the Bose IE 2). However, I've been having a hell of a time trying to find a pair of true wireless buds with actual wingtips. So far, I've tried:

  • Jabra Elite Active 75t - This was my first pair and I was hoping that they'd magically fit after years of wingtip headphones...they didn't.
  • Soundcore by Anker Life A1 - Recommended on this sub, but would still fall out
  • Earfun Buds - These were also recommended on this sub, and would still fall out

I've been considering the Jaybird Vista 2 (pricey with subpar reviews) or the Bose Sport Earbuds (even more pricey), but was ideally hoping to spend <$100. The only other requirement I have is that they charge with USB-C. Any suggestions / did either the Jaybird/Bose ones work out for anybody else?

Edit - Ended up getting the Jaybird Vista 2 and couldn't be happier with my decision. Pricey, but they actually fit and don't fall out!

I've never had a problem with Earfun Free Pro 2 falling out. Perhaps try the largest wings?

Soundcore Life A2 NC might work for you. They have wings and the main part of the bud sticks out of your ear.

If none of these work, you might have to go to a bud with over-the-ear earhooks, like the Mpow Flame Solo or the Jlab Go Air Sport.

Thanks! I tried the larger wings and they were actually a bit worse. I'm trying to avoid the over-the-ear hook types if possible, and am concerned that the Soundcores are similar enough to the A1 that I doubt that I'd see a difference.

Definitely fits the bill of being able to fit, but I took those out of consideration since $200 is way too much for me. I'm definitely NOT an audiophile and can't justify spending that much money on headphones (especially since I don't use them that often since I'm not commuting to work anymore).

Hi, i just found your post, have you found a pair that suits you yet?
When it comes to the fit, i am in the same boat as you. I loved the Jabra Elite 75t, but they kept falling out. As an alternative, i bought the Jaybird Vista 2 last weekend. They stay in rock solid, but are already too big for my ears. So much so, that they cause pain in around 15 minutes. They are built a bit differently than the jabra, as the earbud "body" sits very directly after the ear canal in your ear. And with their long rectangular body, they just don't quite fit with my small ears. But they stay in super tight, just get too uncomfortable too soon. Would love to hear if you found another pair with wing tips that stay secure.

Sorry for the late reply, but I ended up getting the Jaybird Vista 2 and haven't looked back. They fit me great, and haven't fallen out once!

have you had the issue where they just stop playing the sound if you've been switching apps? I've had mine for about a week and while the fit is great. i've had almost the same experiences you've had, but i really needed to replace my OG Galaxy buds the right one was dying. the sound will stop randomly if the jaybird app decides I've been switching between other apps(youtube, audible, spotify) too much. thinking about spending the extra money on bose QC but the ability to use only the right one by itself is a huge con for me. the other option was the beats fit pro but the reviews are sketch.

Nope, not at all.

I did recently upgrade from a pixel 5 to pixel 6, and for some reason often have to connect the headphones twice for them to work properly. That being said, seems like a pixel issue rather than a headphone issue.

The Earfun Free Pro 2's are the buds I use at the gym. Another option, if you can find them, is the MPow M30 - I use these when biking outdoors, because they're secure and I can use either bud alone.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm worried these are too similar to the Soundcore ones I tried already
