Required $150 ADHD test before consultation

Hi, I was diagnosed with ADD like 10 years ago, hopped off meds about 4 years ago, and now I am really trying to try them out again. Finding an appointment has been really difficult and this place requires a $150 test (not billed through insurance) before consultation for ADHD. Is this a ripoff? The office is med management.
