wtf dude… this album boutta be golden era tier
This is so different than Animal Collective that we get used to. Besides of the all that funky baeuty its feels like straight out from old animated musicals especially with that outro. With all of that drums attacks, Avey leading the band like an orchestra and those cute romantized lyrics this song feels like a different structure that came from another band. These guys know how to being always a new band with new albums. They builds different forms everytime with every albums.
It definitely feels like Feels, MPP and Slasher Flicks all got into a "you got chocolate into my peanut butter" car wreck.
Gives me country / slasher flicks vibes
i can’t articulate why but it sounds like a song that could have been used in a 90s animated movie set on a farm. barnyard rock
Is it the youtube compression or does this sound a little mushy? Gonna relisten with headphones. YOU KNOW I WOULD NOT BE AFRAIIID with your head against my SHOULDERRRR.
Edit: I should say at some parts, not the whole thing.
Listened on Apple Music and it was a big difference to me. Way clearer.
felt the same
Ngl I was ready for a whole hurdy gurdy track, idk why. But this is great, too.
Yeah those first 30 seconds or so are pure bliss
it's like the entire 1st minute of the song! i'm LOViNG these instrumental breaks featured on every song so far. whether it's an intro or an outro, i've got a feeling they'll hold the album together and perpetuate the theme of floating through the cosmos with bliss.
the excitement is palpable...
Holy FUCK this might be the best single yet, dare i say one of their best songs in general? This is so much fun energy
first half didn't click with me at first then the second half came and i loved it. on my third listen now. can't wait for this record!
Sounds like the stones second half
Yeah, I can hear that with the honky tonk piano chords.
Reminds me of the best parts of the frenetic energy of water curses, the harmony of fall be kind, and the upbeat/poppy sound of kinda bonkers and then something just completely new. This song is INCREDIBLE, I have had it on repeat all morning
Listening to this over a cup of their collab coffee and loving it
they released a coffee line??? lol
i've GOT to try this...
They announced a Europe tour! I can’t wait 😅 (UK fan)
I hope there are more announcements to come.. my country's not on the list
The Instagram post did say there are more announcements coming!
Oh didn't notice that, very excited!
Im really happy about that. Is it hard to get Tickets?
If I don’t get a ticket for a germany show I’ll probably cry
That's what I also try to get.
The bright piano on this track gives me STGSTV vibes :))))
It’s gotta be a throwback, can’t just be coincidence
Can't wait to absolutely ruin this song for myself by listening to it on a fucking loop for hours today. It's just so damn good. Reminds me of Fall Be Kind for some reason, but with a dash of euphoria.
Idk, need to listen more. Found myself a bit bored and mildly annoyed by this track. Love the production and mix though. Don't hate me just sharing opinion.
EDIT: I've listened a couple times now and am getting into it a bit more. Really looking forward to the full album.
Yeah, same. I'm realizing it's actually a very different experience without the video, I'd recommend just listening and giving that a shot.
So odd, I heard this on Apple Music first thing and LOVED it then watched video and was way more meh. Now I’m back on Apple Music and it’s a banger again
This album has been so well recorded and mixed. Everything sounds crystal
This should be pinned over my submission!
Thanks, mods!
Man this is a good song. It reminds me of “who loves the sun” by Velvet Underground.
Not clicking with me yet on first listen will attempt again later
Definitely try again. I ecstatically played it three times in a row!
I now love this song lol
💜🦋🧡🌈🐞✨🐝☺️
Lmao this is me with literally all animal collective work. I listened to Feels, meh didn't get it. Tried in again a few months later and holy shit that album is so damn special
What you on about this is 10/10 insanely good
