SteamVR resolution per eye wrong?

I have a Samsung Odyssey WMD with a resolution per eye of 1440x1600. When I look at steamvr settings the render resolution at 100% is 1440x1800 and not 1600. Is this an issue?

Bonus question, is the reprojection mode where the game runs at half fps still a thing? I tried enabling it through the ini after installing both betas, and it doesnt do anything,

I have been debugging sudden performance loss in ACC for a day now and slowly losing my patience and mind so any input is much appreciated, thanks

Even though the pixel dimensions of the Odyssey+'s panels is 1600x1440 per eye, the rendered resolution at 100% is higher, IIRC to correct for barrel distortion. This is normal.

Yes, however if you're using "SteamVR for WMR" AFAIK you don't need to edit the .ini file any more, it's all done through the SteamVR dashboard.

Cheers, that's one less worry. I got the reprojection to work by accident, it looks rubbish.. so for an extra bonus question: My gpu and cpu frame times are around 9 ms yet my frame rate has dropped to 80-ish since a few days. And i get massive "lag spikes" with no corresponding peaks in frame time and no dropped frames. Any clue what im doing wrong?

Maybe my pc just needs a good cleaning in the dishwasher....

Honestly, no idea 🤷‍♂️

That's an odd resolution for barrel distortion correction, but it has to be the answer. This video explains why 100% SteamVR resolution doesn't match the native resolution of your headset: https://youtu.be/nyehrn9EKIY

Edit: There could be some resolution sub-sampling via the WMR software too in order to make the SteamVR resolution-per-eye slider give those numbers.

thanks, very odd that is only applied in one direction on the samsung headset, but if thats the way it is...
