That's very generous of you. You might even be able to just provide the sim card number to the store over phone or to customer service, and they could maybe make other arrangements. I dunno tho. Physical drop off is probably the most sure way to reunite the lost phone with its owner.

The SIM card will show the carrier, if the phone screen itself doesn't. You could take it to one of the carriers stores and they could return it to its owner.

I know that's a pain in the arse, but it might make someone's whole year.

I found a phone in a snowbank near Duke St. West and Wellington.  It appears to have been wiped remotely. If you can tell me the type of phone and colour of case, send me a dm. I'd love to return it.
