They're actually from GW's LoTR Great Eagles Box. I did try and see if I could get the heads to fit too but without decimating the model and not guaranteeing a fit it was a bit too risky for me, I'm not the best at conversions.
I did a similar conversion with the very same kit! I just used the other wings (clipped them a bit too) and i managed to get a head on properly by carefully using blu tac and superglue. Yours still looks great though, does he have a name?
