Team playstyle advice

Team Composition :Enough:

Here's my 2 questions: 1 How should point Bluegeeta played as a battery work out? 2 Also I'm open to any 3rd slot suggestions for a kefla/AGH shell.

The story; My old team got overall nerfed with the big patch a few months ago and I was already kind of unsure about keeping my old team, so I went on a journey to find a new team.

I settled on wanting to make a A Gohan-centric team that still has synergy between the other members too. So I wanted to get a character who at least starts point as a strong battery and have AGH swap in when some meter is built and, most ideally, once neutral is won. The options I figured out for my own fun+some synergy right now are

Bluegeeta A / AGH A / Baseku A (Bluegeeta A has unique synergy with AGH and Baseku)

Kefla A / AGH / ???? (i value special synergy, neuch and defense over blockstun assists) (Also not a fan of Kefla Baseku without a 3rd to link them together synergy wise, like a DHC into SSB)

note; it will be hilarious if lab coat 21 is great with AGH and fills in one of these spots. Not holding my breath though.

play your favorite team and adapt to whatever nerfs or buffs they had and play around it , bein a tier/char won’t help you improve unless ur trying to expand ur game knowledge but virtually anything and everything works this patch if your chars isn’t Frieza you should be fine (even Frieza can manage despite being the worst char in a balanced game)

it was a nerf to c assists, it was 4goji B/baseku C/krillin A. I already was a bit uncertain about using Baseku C but I liked the unique synergy he gave and thought it was fun. Then C assists got nerfed and was like "Welp there's my excuse to not bother with baesku C" and I did not want to play 4goji with no assist that reaches past 2 zones but only played 4goji because of fancy krillin rocks assist synergy...

Basically it was just like 'may as well get a new team if i'm so uncertain about this one.'

Thanks for your advice though! You think AGH is a better round start point than bluegeeta? I'm not against the idea of AGH as round start point, but only if he's the best round start point of that team.

now from what you described I thought you were past the phase of touching c assist with those characters, and yea your whole team is good gohan a way better point than gogeta, not only is baseku one of the best anchors in game gogeta blue can tod from literally any position from 0 bar has a fairly good tool set but he needs help to open people up and can’t really do it on his own but that 6m deletes people if I played your team it would be Adult Gohan A or B gogeta A and Baseku A in that order gogeta and baseku work extremely well together, it’s one of the busted duos

'past the phse of touching c-assist' huh? ;0 I was using Baseku C due to special synergy. Giving krillin forbidden mix if it hits, giving 4goji 6HH fuzzy aerial and on top of that act as a neuch assist at the same time, while Krillin A acts as vertical/zone ~1.5? neuch. I just enjoy teams with standout special synergy, even if Baseku A would have been beter. To me the cooldown just barely seemed to make it OK. Then they nerfed it so now I feel like it made the plan too weak. That and 4goji started getting a lot of hate so it put me off from playing 4goji in general.

Also I don't play bluegoji, bluegeea was short for Vegeta SSGSS, sorry. Though I know he's an OK partner with AGH too and that bluegoji is particularly good with baseku. I might pick him up sometime.

4 gogeta b ( c assist is fine to use on this character ) he’s one of the few exceptions it’s too good not too if you aren’t to neutral heavy in terms of skill , adult gohan a-b and baseku a is the team I would rock (but that’s personally cus I mastered neutral already) I probably almost never super dash and in blockstrings baseku a gives easy fuzzy universally for any character that has them not only does it keep you standing but the player can’t tell if they are blocking low or not if they blocked the assist standing up because it won’t give them a crouch animation

As far as synergy is concerned I don’t really sweat those details when I play, if I make a random team I put all the characters in the “right”/best order and MAKE them work for example for your old team I would of had gogeta 4 b krillin rock assist and baseku a in that order

But as far as your question is concerned I’d put adult gohan first learn to optimize and abuse the change mechanic and keep baseku last it’s def a good team overall and requires good neutral knowledge to play, ( with optimization and change mechanic abuse you can easily level up gohan and have 5 bar by the time you’ve killed your opponent first char and touched the 2nd once)

honestly i'd play kefla A / vegeta blue A or B / baseku A

kefla is better at the point war than vegeta blue and she builds a ton of bar for the rest of the team ( which vegeta blue will use for 236M-H 50/50s )

if you want to keep AGH i'd play vegeta blue A / AGH C / baseku A

vegeta blue's neutral isn't as stupid as the current meta point characters so having a beam / beam like assist helps him a lot

obviously kefla A is godly but C assist beams are still good even after the cooldown nerf
