i think you'd like the Me now

when i stopped wearing my retainers after i left for college,

i cried when i couldn't cram them back onto my teeth.

'all that money wasted' i thought,

'my dad's going to kill me'

i tried my best to fight against the inevitable

and begged my teeth to rearrange

but now i think the crooked suits me

and i think you'd like how my smile has changed
