Any one know what’s happening at the edge?

Boyfriend of one of the residents of the apartment here. Basically, a parent of one of the people living there got a call saying their child was being held at gunpoint. Cops showed up and entered, but nobody was in any danger. They searched the place just to be sure and found nothing going on, so they took a statement and left. Coincidentally, I was heading over to the apartment as this was going on. I saw several cop cars leaving (presumably the swat team as they were no longer needed) and saw a few more in the parking lots. I got there after most of them had left. There were 3-4 still there when I walked up the stairs.

All the rumors going around are just that, rumors. Nothing more. There were no shots fired. It wasn’t a drug bust or human trafficking bust. It was a sick prank called in to try and get people hurt or worse. If you hear people talking about it, or spreading rumors, shut it down IMMEDIATELY. Put yourself in this situation and see if you would want people just assuming you were dealing drugs. I’ve already had to deal with one idiot posting the address of her apartment on yikyak, I don’t want my significant other or either of the other two roommates to have to go through any more stress related to this. You have no idea what it’s like to have guns pointed at you, so be a Hokie and help kill the rumors❤️🧡

Hi! Front door neighbor to that apartment that got raided. So rumor is someone in the apartment below them prank called the cops saying someone was being held at gunpoint in the raided apartment

I noticed several cops headed down main (I was near the mall) about an hour ago. Did they end up there?
